Daily Dancer was purchased from the 2016 Ponyforum Auction, originally named Dorniks Dynamit. Combining the bloodlines of Dornik B, Miraculix and FS Pavarottie, we felt that he could provide a new dimension to our breeding program with bloodlines not available in Australia. He shows three elastic swinging paces, great conformation and an enviable pedigree.

THE STORY SO FAR

Daily Dancer was the Licensing champion at the Spring licensing in 2019, and won his Bundeschampionate qualifier in 2019 in addition to a win and a placing at two other outings.

Daily Dancer has grown out of pony height at an unofficial 152cm, however he carries small genetics with 5 full siblings all well underheight and all pony breeding.

Described at his licensing as an "extraordinarily sporty and dynamic riding pony with an enviable pedigree”,

Daily is the only stallion to provide those elusive Dornik B and Miraculix bloodlines in Australia. Dornik blood has successfully crossed with every GRP bloodline currently available in Australia with many ponies at FEI pony level and above in the open classes.

The PEDIGREE

Daily Dancer is by the Champion stallion Dornik B. Dornik B is one of the most successful Pony stallions of all times. He has 8 European Championship Gold Medals, 4 times Bundeschampion, twice the Deutsche Meister. His contribution to the genetics of pony dressage can not be faulted nor underestimated.

Daily Dancer's dam is the State Premium mare Mirca. She is the dam of a licensed stallion by FS Coco Jambo. Her Sire Miraculix has produced numerous licensed stallions and State Premium daughters. Most notable is the double Bundeschampion Magic Cornflakes.

Breeding to Daily Dancer

Daily Dancer will stand at stud to approved mares in Australia via Chilled semen and or frozen. Our chilled season will start November 20th for the 2026 season.

Service fee is $2300.00 inc GST paid at time of booking and comes with a LFG. Collection, transport and veterinary costs additional.

There are limited doses of frozen semen available in Germany and France. This semen has been collected and frozen by Select Breeder Services at Dr Genns and has an average motility above 38% across all batches.

the australian story so far

Daily Dancer attended his first official outing in Australia and the Homes and Acreage Boneo Summer Classic. Stepping out in Open Class, he placed fourth in the 1B with 71.375% and won the 1C with 75.375%. Overall Open Preliminary Champion amongst a very strong field of contenders.

In 2022 Daily Dancer competed in 5 competitions and won all championships on offer and all scores above 71 % across three different levels.

His year culminated in being crowned National Novice Champion at the 2022 Australian Championships, Victorian State Novice Champion and Victorian State Elementary Champion, this victory being his first two starts at Elementary level.

Daily Dancer was awarded a State Gold Performance Medal by Dressage Victoria for his performances at Novice level. To be eligible for this, a horse must receive a minimum of three scores above 74%.

Daily was also awarded a National Gold Performance Medal by Equestrian Australia for his performances at Novice level. To be eligible for the National award, a horse must receive a minimum of three scores at that level above 75%

In the breeding barn, Daily has also shown he is an overachiever. His 2022 crop of foals have been outstanding. From 25 foals, 6 were presented on the 2023 Ace Tour, four being awarded an Elite Title, with two narrowly missing this and receiving a premium award. One foal was presented on the 2023 Trakehner tour, also receiving an Elite award.

Dailys eldest foals are now ready to be started for their riding careers and all are showing to have his very calm, sensible temperament, a willingness to work and their movement is above average. They're pretty enough to show, bold enough to event and have great scope over a fence, so showjumping is not out of there reach
