Arna was the first filly bred at Roseglen Farm by Kennedy WE
Arna was broken in as a 5yo and was used as a pony for my own children to ride. Incredibly quiet and quite beautiful, Arna is the image of her father, Kennedy. Due to the innate value of Kennedy broodmares, the decision was made to focus on breeding for the next few years before returning Arna to her saddle career.
Possessing three good paces, a great temperament, pretty face and a super size, Arna's first foal by Daily Dancer is due in November 2021.
Arna was the first filly bred in Australia out of a riding pony mare to be accepted into the Westphalian studbooks.
Kennedy WE is an Elite registered German Riding Pony stallion in the 1st Premium Class of the Weser-Ems and Hannover Pony Stud Books. In 1999 he was the 2nd Reserve Champion of the Weser-Ems Pony Stallion Licensing.
Kennedy qualified for the Bundeschampionate for three years running. In 2001, he placed 5th in the 4yo Stallion Riding Class, in 2002, he was 7th for 5yo Dressage Ponies and in 2003, he placed 6th for 6yo Dressage Ponies.
In 2003, Kennedy was awarded "FN Bundesprämienhengst” and Reserve Champion in Dressage and Show at the “FN Bundeshengstschau” in Berlin (both times behind FS Champion de Luxe). He scored a perfect score of 10.0 for rideability. He was also the Champion of 2003 Weser-Ems Riding Pony Stallion Show.
Kennedy has competed successfully in Germany at Prix St. George with teenager, Theresa Meyer. His show record under saddle is incredible, with 32 victories and 85 places from riding pony classes to Prix St. Georg level, with 25 of those victories at L – M Level.
Kinsbrook Abbey Road was a multi-supreme winning Riding Pony mare. She won across multiple rings, part bred Arab, part bred welsh and riding pony ring. She was exceptional under saddle, but found her mojo at pony club with beginner riders. A true childrens pony, with talent to burn, she has taken many a beginner rider to lofty rewards.
