Ascot Classic Silk is one of Australia's most successful Riding Pony sires available at stud. Silk is by the super English Riding Pony Sire, Westacre Concerto (dec), and is out of Ascot Satin Doll (dec). Silk has produced countless Royal, National and State progeny in hand and under saddle. He is renowned for passing on his exceptional temperament and trainability.
Her Dam Sieges Finale is by the Thoroughbred stallion Siege of Ennis and is out of the Arabian mare Sorella Royal Astra. She has produced a number of successful show horses in hand and under saddle.
Samarah was bred by Ascot Stud (Sunbury, Victoria). She was successfully shown in hand in her younger years, before unfortunately sustaining an injury which has stopped her from being campaigned under saddle. She is the dam of three foals, two have been shown in hand for championship wins, and her third foal Roseglen Schwarze Hexe, who was the highest scoring filly on the 2016 ACE tour, scoring 81% combined for movement and conformation.
Samarah is a lovely type of mare with a very good temperament twhich she passes on to her progeny. She has been ACE assessed and accepted into the Westphalian Studbooks in Germany.
Samarah is in foal to the Bundeschampion, Golden State, for a 2016 foal.
